This isn't a Raspberry Pi OS kernel. What OS are you running?

The client /lib folder contains the wrong 6.6.25-1-rpi subfolder and then it might be one of the reason it can't find the modules

However I really don't know how to maintain integrity between the two systems kernels..

Don't combine a kernel from the github repo and modules from the module package in the apt repo. Use the same kernel + modules or it won't work.
