ok, I found and tried this command. Here are the results:
$ sudo apt-get install p7zip-full
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
p7zip-full is already the newest version (16.02+dfsg-8).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
So I guess this means it is installed. I am used to windows 11 that makes an icon on the desktop to use it. I will try and find it if I am able.
