I'm trying to work through the steps, but #9 doesn't work for me.
me@raspberrypi:~/Downloads $ sudo growpart /dev/nvme0n1 2
FAILED: failed to get start and end for /dev/nvme0n12 in /dev/nvme0n1
Is there some additional prep work I need to do? I'm new to this, so I haven't set up any partitions before following this guide. I did edit the rpiboot/config.txt as instructed for the board setup, but that's about it.

Board: N07 M.2 2280 PCIe To NVMe Bottom Extension Adapter Board
SSD: Crucial P3 4TB m2
it looks like the nvme is recognized:
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
mmcblk0 179:0 0 119.4G 0 disk
├─mmcblk0p1 179:1 0 512M 0 part /boot/firmware
└─mmcblk0p2 179:2 0 118.9G 0 part /
nvme0n1 259:0 0 3.6T 0 disk
