I dont disagree about the phone. Ive thought of it as a viable option as well but I would prefer an older more DE-googled phone. I know one can always be tracked using tech/net gear(however you want to put it or look at it) but a phone seems to risky in terms of stealth, tracking, security
Other drawbacks is some cant change batteries or be powered easily with alt mean but if there is options to overcome this during the "build" id be more then open to try it
The POE hat was only to have another option for power that was abundant, also the possibiltiy that it could be active enough to use, great if not atleast its power. I wasnt really thinking about using it over the net, more just uploading what I want to it
Im torn on the screen size, I want small power consumption, nothing huge or would make a small project bulky but its also one of those if say I go with a huge 14T HDD I could make a small box for it & screen size wouldnt matter. Im even thinking if I can keep weight down making the screen teather to my arm as a display while everything else is in a bag. Maybe a NVME stick would be a nice middle ground(undoubtedly expensive)
The software will be the biggest challenge. I dont need to to be perfect but def dont want it to be finicky
The dosher is basically the shell of it done! Thanks M8 I knew something had to be out there but Im horrible at searching. I could manage with that even though the goal was smaller my idea is currently based on the storage space requirements
I do really appreciate the thought & input! I want this challenged as well as helped. If theres a better way to something Im always ears
