For reassurance, your brcmfmac dmesg data is identical to mine (Bullseye RP Zero 2W)
And yours connects?

Yes, absolutely no problems with it. I only use it wireless headless, its never had a monitor or keyboard connected to it. I think it is a gui install as I wanted it to be versatile but it is set to boot to cli.

I have power savings switched off which is what @bls suggested, prior to that it was sometimes difficult to wake up but its in a high interference area from a number of USB3 devices.

A problem that has cropped up on the forum is using some less common characters in the password, it is best sticking to letters and numbers at least until you get it working.
