I booted it at least twice, and got the same message. I saw it the first time, then powered off the pi, removed the SD card, and was about to image it with the 32 bit image, but before I decided to stick it in again and boot it a second time to take the picture of the error message for the post - it did the exact same thing the second time around.I just rechecked and I got that message too. However I rebooted and everything appeared fine.
I'll have a look at that image later today, if I get time.
As I mentioned above, I imaged the card with the 32 bit image, and it booted fine. I've since finished setting up the software and sent the SD card and the pi away (it was an emergency replacement for a super ancient RPI1 that failed). I do have another 3B+ NIB and I could go to the store and get another of the same SD card - it was a Sandisk 64gb microSDXC UHS-I card (basically the cheapest at the store that wasn't a no-name brand)
