Hi,Starting a Pi with no keyboard, mouse or monitor attached is how you create a headless Pi. I do it all the time.
Create the microSD card with Raspberry Pi Imager, and in that set Wifi details, username etc. and enable SSH.
Boot Pi5 from that and wait 5 minutes.
From your PC (with keyboard/mouse/monitor) use PuTTY to SSH into the pi.
Then enable rpi-connect as per https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... nnect.html
Note you can also use VNC server on the Pi (headless) and VNC Viewer on the PC.
I set up Pi Connect while I was using the Pi desktop. A friend has connected successfully (shared desktop) from the U.S to here in Thailand to help me out with a few things. I know it works, so it's set up, but it won't let me on when it runs headless. Are you sure there isn't some sort of setting I have to change so it can run headless?
Thanks,
Ken
