Correct.From a previous RPi image session, I was able to find the C:/User/<myusername>/.ssh folder which contains an id_rsa and id_rsa.pub files. Is the file without the extension the private key? Could this be shared to any other machine if I want them to also be able to login via SSH then?
You can copy the private key to other machines you want to be able to login from.
And the .pub public key to other machines you want to be able to login to.
