Just go for it and try, if you're hitting thermal problems, delid the SoC.I have read forums on how to overclock my Raspberry Pi to greater than the stock 1.5GHz, but would it be possible to overclock to a ridiculous amount like 2.7 - 3.0 GHz? I know if I tried it would just fail to boot but would it be possible to modify something to overclock further? I have watercooled it so heat isn't an issue
Water cooling is a bit pointless*, but is good for the show.
Search around and see if anyone has tapped into the voltage lines to pump it up a bit.
It'll still be slower than a Pi5 if that was clocked at an energy saving reduced speed (probably). Though that's another £80 to £100 for that speed boost, staying in Pi land.
But have fun, see what you an do, it all about the challenge.
Any pics of your setup?
*cost wise, unless you're in an extremely hot area, compared to just blowning a big fan over it.
