Bookworm does work on a Pi Zero 2 - I have one.

I can confirm that too. Four out of five of my Zero 2Ws are running Bookworm. Two of the four are using 32-bit and the other two are using 64-bit.

I really ought to get around to reinstalling the last one that is still running bullseye.
