On of the programs I miss from Windows is Fastone which is a simple and very convenient image editor that can also perform bulk changes to image files. There was a similar program in Debian but it has fallen by the wayside.
While bulk resizes aren't difficult from the command line, the convenience of a gui when picking images is pretty much a necessity.
Converseen (which is in the repo) is far from a drop in replacement for Fastone but it makes the bulk resizing far easier on the Pi. It also has the similar ability to add a prefix or suffix to the changed file's name.
Any other suggestions would be good but preferably ones from the repo.
